Will it work with my theme?
Yes. MultiRoute runs as an app block and an app embed, so it works with any Online Store 2.0 theme and matches your colors. A guided setup opens the theme editor in the right place. If you get stuck, email us and we'll help, or cancel during your free trial at no charge.
How long does setup take?
Most stores are set up in a few minutes. Install from the Shopify App Store, follow the setup guide to turn on the cart button (and the side cart on Plus), then adjust the wording and colors with the live preview. No developers needed.
What do I see in my Shopify admin?
Your customer pays once. MultiRoute then creates a separate order for each address, with that address's items, shipping and tax, so each shipment gets its own fulfillment and tracking. The original order is kept for the payment, and refunds on the per-address orders are taken from it automatically.
How are shipping rates and taxes calculated?
MultiRoute uses your existing Shopify shipping settings and calculates tax for each destination. Customers see the rates and tax for every address before they pay.
What's the difference between Standard and Plus?
Both include the full multi-address cart page, per-address shipping and tax, and automatic order splitting. Plus adds MultiRoute to your side cart, so shoppers can assign addresses without leaving the page they're on.
What are bulk orders?
The Bulk orders add-on (+$19.99/month) adds a panel where customers upload a spreadsheet of recipients and products. They check a preview, then everything lands in the cart with the right address on each item. Great for corporate gifting. Up to 100 addresses and 500 rows per upload.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. Every plan has a 7-day free trial with full access, and billing goes through your Shopify bill. If it's not right for your store, uninstall during the trial and you won't be charged.
Will this change my regular checkout?
No. Shoppers who ship to one address check out exactly as before. MultiRoute only steps in when a customer turns on multi-address shipping.
